Plant Manager Responsible for effective and efficient overall plant operations, leading continuous productivity and quality improvement, optimization of processes to minimize Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and promoting customer relation. Job Duties The Plant manager shall lead the overall daily operations of the entire plant, ensuring all related policies and procedures are followed, leading continuous processes improvement towards maximizing operational control, safety, quality and productivity. Responsibilities 1. Direct and coordinate daily operations of the manufacturing plant. 2. Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations 3. Increase production, equipment capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards 4. Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time delivery 5. Allocate resources effectively and fully utilizes equipment to produce optimal results 6. Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus 7. Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions 8. Develop a trusting relationship with work team and recruit, manage and develop manufacturing staff 9. Collect and analyse data to eliminate and/or minimizes waste and/or enhance effectiveness and efficiency 10. Commit and promote factory safety procedures 11. Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure best OEE 12. Address employees’ issues or grievances and consciously create and maintain harmonious work environment 13. Influence and learn from all level of the organization as well as his/her work team 14. Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts 15. Promote and/or lead change and transformation effort at plant and company level. Requirements 1. Proven experiences in plant operation management, preferably in automotive industry 2. Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources) 3. Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise 4. Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, planning & scheduling, inventory and control of processes 5. Ability to create accountability and to lead by example 6. Strong leadership and managerial attributes, with exceptional operational, organizational and people management skills. 7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 8. Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field
