Plant Production Manager (Metal/Aluminium/Steel Industry)

Job Description:
•Track schedules, analyse production costs while maintaining quality.
•Manage and train the production team to elevate their technical skills.
•Involve in the productions continuous improvement activities to optimize production time, quality, plant’s capacity and cost effectively.
•Interact with other departments accordingly to achieve desired production results.
•Any other related task as and when is needed by the team.

Requirements:
•Degree and above in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Production Engineering.
•Minimum 10-11 years of production working experience from a ferrous/ non-ferrous medium/ heavy metal manufacturing industry with at least 5 years of experience in managing a department or cost centre independently.
•Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
•Skills required:
oPlant’s continuous process planning.
oTechnical drawings and standards.
oNon-Destructive Testing (NDT).
o5S, OHSAS Implementation & Practises.
•Must be energetic, proactive and a good team player.
•Possess good analytical and technical skills in the manufacturing production areas.
