Job Description: We are seeking a qualified Application Maintenance/Production Support (L3) specialist to join our team.
This role is responsible for providing Level 3 (L3) support for application maintenance and production in a banking domain environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java Spring Boot, Linux (RHEL/SUSE), and shell scripting, along with a solid understanding of Oracle databases and Unix/Linux administration.
Key Responsibilities: Application Support: Provide L3 support for critical applications, ensuring system reliability and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues in production environments. System Maintenance: Monitor application health and performance metrics, identifying and addressing issues proactively. Perform configuration changes, patch updates, and deployments in line with change management processes. Scripting and Automation: Create and maintain shell scripts to automate repetitive tasks and enhance system efficiency. Collaboration and Escalation: Work closely with internal and external teams to address and resolve issues. Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate stakeholders and track resolution progress. Platform and Database Management: Support Oracle WebLogic, JBoss application servers, and Apache web servers. Utilize advanced knowledge of Oracle Databases (12c/19c) for application data management. Optional Platform Expertise: Provide additional support for Finastra Fusion platform and Solaris OS environments as required. Mandatory Skills and Qualifications: Programming Language: Java Spring Boot Operating Systems: RHEL or equivalent Linux distributions (e.g., SUSE Linux) Scripting: Proficiency in shell scripting Database: Advanced experience with Oracle Database (12c/19c) Unix/Linux Administration: Strong understanding and operational expertise Domain Expertise: Previous experience in the banking domain Preferred Skills: Application Servers: Oracle WebLogic, JBoss Web Servers: Apache Platforms: Finastra Fusion Operating System: Solaris Required Experience: 3 5 years in application maintenance or production support roles (L3 level). Proven ability to manage and resolve complex issues in production environments. Familiarity with ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.
