Procurement Executive

ResponsibilitiesAssist in executing procurement strategies aligned with project requirements, budget, and timeline while supporting senior team members in supplier performance monitoring.
Conduct cost and service comparisons, preparing recommendations for supplier selection, and handle routine purchasing tasks such as issuing purchase orders and verifying billing.
Support negotiations with suppliers to achieve favorable terms, ensuring cost savings without compromising quality standards.
Help optimize freight and shipping arrangements, contributing to cost management and seamless logistics operations.
Manage day-to-day procurement transactions and assist with additional activities as required.
Job Requirements2 years in direct purchasing experience in construction materials within a main contractor environment is required.
Candidates with Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, or a related field will be preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) for effective communication with Chinese suppliers.
Possessing knowledge in quantity surveying is an added advantage.
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities within deadlines and make logical judgements with holistic considerations.
