As a Procurement Specialist (Direct) within Global Business Services; you are expected to perform documents updates, support the purchase order creation process, and solve invoice discrepancies/deviations. In this role, you will involve in completing procurement compliance activities, improving procurement processes, and participating in operational projects. If you are detailed and timely communication personnel, ready to be in the success of this role; we would like to speak with you!Responsibilities Create and maintain contracts, info records, source lists, quota arrangements, rebates in the ERP system and databases. Interact with planning on pricing and placement policy. Support on complaints management. Handle invoice and data discrepancy resolution with suppliers and internally. Support the Procurement team in the retained organization in various administrative and business compliance-related tasks. Review and support in maintaining work instructions. Identify and implement potential Procurement process improvement initiatives. Support Procurement team for Indirect and Freight related tasks. Required skills and experience 1-3 years in an international Business environment and been involved in a Finance or Procurement role. Experience in a Shared Service Center/ Global Business Services Center is an added advantage. Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office) are required. Knowledge of SAP ERP, Power BI, and SAP BI/BO tools is considered an advantage, but not mandatory. Proficiency in English, ability in communicating competently and in a professional manner. Other languages (Chinese, Malay, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, Japanese) are considered assets but not mandatory. Organized, accurate, and proactive. Excellent communicator verbally and in written form. Can work in an independent manner, as well as integrate well into a team. Good resistance to stress. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Basic leadership skills and the ability to take initiative are considered advantages. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business discipline or related field.
