Ensure the successful execution of product initiatives, driving innovation, and delivering exceptional value to merchants through customer-centric and scalable digital payment solutions.
Responsible for supporting the Head of Digital Merchant Solutions in the development, management, and optimization of the bank's digital payment and merchant solutions portfolio.
Get involved in product lifecycle management, market research, stakeholder collaboration, and ensuring alignment with the overall strategic goals of the bank.
Engage with business partners to provide holistic Digital Merchant solution.
Design, propose and run go-to market strategy and marketing campaigns to commercialize Digital Merchant products and services.
Develop strategies to ideally price Digital Merchant products and services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Lifecycle Management
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned products within RHB Pay and Digital Merchant Solutions, from ideation and design to implementation and commercialization.
Ensure all product developments align with the strategic vision set by the Head of Digital Merchant Solutions, meeting business objectives and regulatory compliance standards.
Continuously evaluate and enhance product features to address evolving customer needs and market trends.
Market Research and Competitive Analysis
Conduct in-depth research on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
Develop data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making for product enhancements and new solution development.
Benchmark RHB's offerings against competitors to ensure market competitiveness and relevance.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams, including IT, operations, compliance, and sales, to ensure smooth implementation of product initiatives.
Act as the key liaison between the product development team and external vendors to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to develop product positioning, promotional strategies, and training materials.
Product Management
Conduct research and surveys on competitor offerings, segment & industry needs, customer needs, product solutions, etc.
Track customer base, transaction count & value, product penetration & utilization.
Establish yearly business strategy i.e.
product development and enhancement, process improvement, and commercialization plan.
Product solutioning for client-specific customization and/or pre-sales activities.
Plan, execute and manage system and non-system related projects regarding strategic business initiatives, compliance CR, product and functional enhancements, production bug fixes, and client-specific customization.
Create & update Product & System Operational Process, project governance, Regulatory & Compliance, and Product-related processes.
Go-to-Market Execution
Assist in the execution of go-to-market strategies for new products or feature rollouts, including product launches, merchant onboarding processes, and promotional campaigns.
Monitor and analyze product adoption rates and utilization to identify areas for improvement and ensure target KPIs are met.
Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure all products and solutions comply with regulatory requirements, including those set by BNM and PayNet, and proactively adapt to evolving industry guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Business Studies / Administration / Management, Economics, Finance / Accountancy / Banking or any other disciplines related to Banking & Finance.
Minimum 5 years in Transaction Banking, specifically in Payments and Product Management.#J-18808-Ljbffr
