There are many ways to get involved, from Employee Resource Groups to local outreach.- Here's the Gist :_The Backend Operations Project Management Team will support a wide range of projects aimed at driving efficiency and continuous improvements that support Operations, Manufacturing, and the various Businesses.- The Day-to-Day:_- Utilizing your exceptional technical skills and innate curiosity, you will develop and implement unique concepts and solutions which will drive improvements in quality, value, and capacity in product and operations engineering for Wolfspeed Modules products.- Provide hands-on expertise in investigation, analysis, and resolution of product and operations issues and areas for improvement.- Participate in building the infrastructure of a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment for Wolfspeed products through hands-on development and implementation.- Identify high ROI value opportunities in product and operations engineering and successfully execute towards implementation and corporate level fan-out of those projects for the power module portfolio- Participate in closed loop engagements with Manufacturing and R&D to ensure best practices are rolled back into new developments and across adjacent products for optimal returns- This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements) :_- Innate curiosity, analytic nature, and an acute interest in solving problems.- This position requires the lawful ability to access technical data, information, and areas controlled by United States export control laws and regulations.- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technical engineering- 3+ years of semiconductor industry experience- Strong understanding of semiconductor device technology back-end, specifically in Assembly and Test- Strong verbal, written & presentation communications skills- Willingness to travel regularly, including internationally as necessary- Self-motivated with strong drive to excel in engineering development and concept implementation, capable of working with remote guidance in a globally oriented role- Experience with Automotive targeted/qualified products is a plusThis role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.- To put it legally - Wolfspeed is an equal opportunity employer._- We recruit, employ, train, compensate and promote regardless of race, sex, religion, color, national origin, disability, age, veteran status, gender identity, sexual orientation and other protected status as required by law._
