They are supported by more than 18000 employees globally, with strong network in 6 continents, and leading-edge technology.Reporting to the District Manager, the Project Logistics Manager will be the point of contact for the customer for strategic planning, project execution alignment and escalation. Collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders to plan and lead all project execution. To support and grow the district strategy on a local level.**The Project Logistics Manager will be responsible for**:- Direct support to the execution of project cargo movements, training personnel within the district.- Support the education of the company's Sales and Product Management regarding Project Cargo Transport within the district.- Engage GEO Leadership in the defined region.- Train staff in Project Cargo fundamentals and best practices and adapt to the latest trends in safe cargo handling and international trade.- Train, counsel, and mentor branch staff on Project Cargo procedures.- Manage and oversee all projects for the district, including but not limited to being boots-on-the-ground at Project Sites.- Support and grow the company's footprint on project management through active involvement in sales and retention process.- Collaborate with transition and implementation and ensure procedures for the project are in place in compliance to customers SOP.- Comply with regulations at all times which include internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government regulations or customer policies and requirements.- Actively engage with external and internal stakeholders leading the project.- Explore commercial and operational improvement opportunities continuously.- Supervise and oversee load and discharge operations on-site at the customer's facility where necessary.- Lead and conduct service reviews strengthening relationship and partnership with the customer.- Identify and engage new business targets in the Project Cargo Industry.- Support overseas requests in a timely manner.- Supervise documentation.- Oversee load and discharge operations and ensure that all shipments are tracked properly.- Source, initiate and attend regular meetings with local vendors.- Sustain service providers relations in the region.- Involved in defining operational procedures and customer KPIs.- Execute and coordinate RFQs with customers and service providers along with CHQ Tender Management Team.- Additional tasks required supporting the company's needs.**The requirements**- Possess Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.- Minimum 3 years of experience in project cargo industry preferably with strong knowledge on brown field setup / new manufacturing setup, customs compliance.- Strong knowledge of operational process standards and procedures within the project cargo industry.- Strong market and competition knowledge.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites including Word, Excel, etc.- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.- Strong and proven leadership attitude and background.- Strong customer service skills and able to build rapport.- Sense of urgency, integrity and meet tight deadlines.**Job Types**: Full-time, PermanentPay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Opportunities for promotion- Professional developmentSchedule:- Monday to Friday**Education**:- Bachelor's (preferred)**Experience**:- Project Cargo Industry: 3 years (preferred)
