Job Description Job Descriptions: Plans, organizes, oversees and manages the project related matter.
Leads and guides the project team to ensure project success.
Responsible for the overall project development and management including budgeting, implementation.
Responsible for overseeing the workforce, site welfare, and health and safety
Ensure the project is executed timely, within budget and in accordance to the contractual requirement in respect of quality and specifications.
Prepares operating progress report on a monthly basis, or more frequently as needed.
Checks and ensure that correct construction drawings are issued timely.
Attends site meeting with consultants, clients and organize internal meeting with contractor to resolve technical and site issues.
Develops and implements policies, procedures and instruction as relevant and required by the quality system in order to strengthen the company?s position.
Undertakes any and all the others duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the management.
To be decisive and results driven, focused leadership in leading the whole project team members either internally and externally.
To be honest and accountable to yourself, your clients, contractors, subcontractors and your co-workers.
Develop/maintain network of professional relationships within our industry.
Set clear goals and expectations to subordinates especially the project milestone, Standard of Practice (SOP). Method statement of construction and inspection, provide coaching/counseling to foreman/subordinates.
Manage and oversee all construction aspects of the projects, including attending the relevant meetings, collaborate with inter departments, consultants and authorities and preparation of the periodical progress reports to the management.
Negotiate and resolve all technical or customer concerns.
When necessary, estimate change orders for assigned projects, manage all jobs closeout procedures, catch-up plan to address delay of progress, and conduct post project reviews to determine areas for future improvement.
Job Requirements:
Must possess at lease Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering background..
At least 8 years working experience in High & Low rise property development and construction industries.
Good knowledge and experience in project planning, construction methodology and authority liaisons.
Required skill(s): MS Office, AutoCad
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia ,Mandarin, English
Able to work under pressure and a team player.
Able to meet dateline and complete projects.
