Project Manager/Construction Manager

Job Description Â- Responsible for leading project team to complete the project within the contractual period. Â- Overall site planning, coordination and management to ensure on time completion of works within required standard, quality and targeted schedules. Â- Responsible for planning, execution and completion of projects which include coordination, budgeting, scheduling and achieving the targeted project profitability. Â- Manage resources, schedules, financial and adhere to company ISO requirement during project implementation stage Â- Ensure correspondence, calibration record and construction drawings are maintained and retained according to ISO standard Â- Able to led team of managers, engineers and supervisors at site Â- To implement the required & relevant environment, safety, quality policies and emergency plan Â- To take immediate corrective action in the event of site problems being identified Â- To ensure all materials request are planned and submitted in advance so that the supplies can be delivered to site on time Â- Attend site meetings and coordinate with client, consultants, main-con, sub-con and project team members in project execution of all progress tasks. Â- To ensure all works are carried out in accordance to specification, standard and quality Â- To review sub-contractor's performance and evaluate progress of works and claims Â- To analyse on project progress to ensure achievement and meeting project timeline Â- To provide timely report & feedback to the management for any substandard workmanship to enable proper solution to be taken Â- Follow up project off and on site and update the CEO on the progress of works from time to time REQUIREMENTS: Â- Preferable Manager specialized in Engineering '" Civil / Construction / Structural or equivalent. Â- Willing to be based at Lahad Datu & Sandakan Â- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia Â- At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field Â- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Project / Primavera Â- Demonstrates strong leadership qualities, team work, positive attitude, strong integrity, strong sense of responsibility, good problem solving skills and good time management Â- Competent in risk mitigation and crisis management Â- Preferably possess own transport Â- Required Skill(s): Good coordination, knowledge of construction products, details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standardsProvide quality and accountability services in Building, Construction and Properties Development IndustriesBachelor's or Equivalent
