About the job
For the Digital team, we are looking for a proactive enthusiast who can help us in establishing E-Commerce in the Philippines and securing the IKEA brand and our overall vision of “creating a better everyday life for the many people”. As Web Editor, we expect you to work closely with local and global stakeholders to ensure that IKEA customers have outstanding shopping experience by inspiring and localising the online content, implementing SEO recommendations and execute the web merchandising direction.
Your assignment
- You will secure the rollout of the IKEA website and the mobile application in the new market in a timely manner.
- You will ensure that the content is strongly built with the brand guideline, reflects the IKEA brand values, copy and visual identity, tone of voice and quality standards.
- You will create inspirational and localised content.
- You will prepare pages layout, visuals and media creatives such as Home banners using design software (e.g. Photoshop).
- You will coordinate with Web Merchandisers on online sales direction, and with SEO Specialist on enhancing the search engine results.
- You will align with functions (e.g. Marketing team, Sales team, Store team, etc.) across the organisation to define and develop local-relevant content.
- You will plan and schedule website content and ensure the communication is up to date and aligned with the commercial calendar.
- You will coordinate with the translation agency if required and ensure that the deliverables meet our requirements.
- The position will be based in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya. Malaysia.

- You have working experience with CMS, HTML, CSS.
