Job Description:- Responsible for the Direct and indirect purchases including repair and maintenance, plant related services and direct material.- Performing vendor research and selection to enhance profitability, reducing operating costs and boostingefficiency, including processes such as vendor qualification assessment, tender management and etc.- Uphold the Purchasing Policy and maintain constant communication with internal and externalstakeholders on the policy updates/changes.- Have experience in sourcing and negotiation processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management.- On time conversion of PR to PO and ensure items purchased meet the required standards, require delivery date, and specifications from both local and regional specifications.- Perform benchmarking analysis and review of existing vendors on their capabilities and keep vendor database up to date.- Coordinating the closure of Corrective Action Request, SCAR with both internal and external stakeholders.- Ensuring policies being carried out according to the company's requirements and direction.- Ensure that expenditure savings targets are achieved and documented on a monthly basis.- Coordinating the creation of Material Master, MM with local and regional team.- Ensure attainment of local department and regional joint goals, and support management to establish goals, KPI's, and policies for the department.- Any other duties may be assigned from time to time.Requirement:- Must possess at least a Diploma/Degree or relevant qualification in Business Administration or any other related field.- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field.- Experience using procurement/supply chain management ERP software and tools, including, SAP.- Result-oriented, attention to detail, systematic, responsible, sense of ownership, and high ability to workunder pressure in fast changing working environment.- Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills, and ability to thrive in a multicultural work environment.- Well verse with MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).- Demonstrate a positive attitude and have proactive mindset.- A team player and able to work in diverse environments and adhere to highest ethical standards.- Ability to prioritize and organize job tasks and requirements.- Ability to communicate effectively with users & vendors.**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract**Salary**: RM2,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):- Do you have ERP software and tools, including, SAP. experience?**Experience**:- Purchasing: 1 year (required)Willingness to travel:- 25% (required)
