Purchasing Assistant

It is awarded an authorisation to distribute the leading brand of filter products and is also the sole distributor of another brand for South East Asia. It is committed to the company's vision of "To be the preferred "Healthy Air" provider for mankind.''**Responsibilities**:- To prepare monthly reports/related reports as instructed by superior on timely basis- Coordinate with suppliers on sourcing materials, price negotiation and delivery status- Responsible on purchasing requisitions, quotation enquiries, issuance of purchase order and invoicing- To coordinate with all related departments in order to achieve the plan target and schedule- Assist in generating and processing requisition & purchase orders- To enquire and evaluate quotations from supplier- Coordinate, monitor and follow up with supplier on time delivery- Issue PO and maintain systematic filing of PO- To perform all other ad-hoc duties assigned by superiors whenever necessary from time to time- Checking monthly sales invoices**Requirements**:- At least 1 year of experience in related field is required for this position- Software System: SQL- Responsible, committed and disciplined person- Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese (added advantage)- Willing to work in Bukit Mertajam, Penang- Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am to 6.00pm**Salary**: RM2,200.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
