Purchasing Assistant Manager

       Procurement Planning: o    Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with production schedules and company objectives.
o    Analyze material requirements based on forecasts and production demands.
2.
       Supplier Management: o    Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers.
o    Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and conditions to ensure favorable agreements.
o    Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
3.
       Cost Optimization: o    Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and trends in raw materials.
o    Implement strategies to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality.
4.
       Quality Assurance: o    Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure all purchased items meet industry standards and company specifications.
o    Address and resolve any supplier quality issues promptly.
5.
       Inventory Management: o    Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
o    Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for efficient storage and delivery.
6.
       Compliance and Documentation: o    Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental standards in all purchasing activities.
o    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, contracts, and supplier certifications.
7.
       Cross-Functional Collaboration: o    Work closely with engineering, production, and finance teams to align procurement with operational goals.
o    Support new product development initiatives by sourcing required components and materials.
Requirements ·         Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
·         3+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
·         Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
·         Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and supply chain logistics is a plus.
·         Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
·         Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
·         Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

·         Knowledge of sourcing and procurement best practices.
