Purchasing Clerk

1. Create enquiry for prices to suppliers based on approved PR received.2. Obtain approval from Purchasing Manager and issue purchase order and sends copy to supplier.3. Compiles records of items purchased or transferred between departments.4. Verifies bills from suppliers with quotations and purchase orders.5. Compares prices, specifications, and delivery dates, and awards contract to supplier with best bid.6. Determines if material on hand is in sufficient quantity.7. Confers with suppliers concerning late deliveries.8.
