Purchasing Executives (based in Kota Kemuning)An agile and effective Purchasing Executive to strengthen our procurement and purchasing function as we grow to serve more customers globally.
The ideal candidate is astute and skilled at securing cost savings and better lead time without compromising on quality, and meticulous in leveraging on Excel and ERP to improve operational efficiency.We are looking for Entry level / Fresh Graduate CandidatesTwo (2) openings: 1 Purchaser, and 1 Purchaser with costing abilities and do purchasing for tech.Job Responsibilities
Undertake all procurement/purchasing activities and administrative tasks.
Involve in Procurement activities such as sourcing activities, request for quotation, conduct & evaluate supplier performance, Engineering Change Notice (ECN), quality, etc.
Work closely with suppliers for enquiries, price negotiation, contracts, and credit terms.
Liaise with suppliers regarding any discrepancies that may arise against pricing, quality, etc.
Source for new alternative suppliers for price efficiency, cost saving, and better quality.
Undertake all pricing updates in Microsoft Excel and ERP system.
Send and follow-up on enquiries to meet procurement deadlines.
Be trained to independently source for mechanical and electronic parts.
Involve in Purchasing activities.
Process purchase orders.
Collate purchase orders and purchase requisition to order materials, goods, and supplies.
Update the status of delivery dates in ERP and review deliveries against the orders.
Responsible for delivering overseas supplier's shipments to customers.
Track the status of orders.
Interact with suppliers on a day-to-day basis.
Meet with vendors to negotiate quotations, improved pricing, product quality, and delivery.
Generate and maintain all purchase reports and purchasing history on ERP.
Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
Work closely with other departments within the organization on all matters pertaining to customer-supplier enquiries.
Involve in Cost Management and Costing Calculation.
Review inventories and order as required.
Undertake all filing as required.
Any ad-hoc tasks required from time to time.
People Requirements
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge in procurement/purchasing AND a degree/diploma inmechanical/electrical/mechatronics/material engineeringORsupply chain managementOR 2 years of experience inprocurement/purchasinginmanufacturing/automation industrieswill be an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Willing to work atKota Kemuning, Shah Alam .
