Job Description Job Description Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies.
Purchasing functions including compilation of purchase requisition, preparing orders, liaise and follow up with suppliers.
Place orders for all F&B perishable products/ daily market list and office equipment and stationery.
Negotiate prices for all purchases aiming best quality products and services at lowest cost.
Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements and documentations.
Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
Monitor and forecast upcoming level of demands.
Conduct month-end inventory stock take; prepare month-end inventory reports and variances.
Data entry including deliver orders and invoices posting, month-end inventory data adjustment.
Liaise with Accounts/ Finance Department on payment and credit issue.
Maintain supplier database and purchase/ stock information.
Requirements
Candidate must possess Diploma/Advanced Diploma or Bachelor Degree in related field.
Minimum 6 years purchasing working experience in Hospitality or F&B industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Excel and Words.
Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
Organized, meticulous, resourceful and team player. Mature, proactive and service-mind.
Work fast and commit to the deadline with high accuracy and attention to details.
Possess own transport.
Well versed in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
Solid judgement along with decision making skills.
Strong leadership capabilities.
An added advantage to candidate who have experience in ERP Accounting Software.
