Purchasing Officer

To plan and purchase materials required to meet production needs.- Manage inventory to ensure consistency of supply and to minimize obsolescence.- To monitor stock level, supplier lead-time and budget expenditure.- Prepare purchase order and ensure materials are delivered on time.- Monitor and evaluate suppliers' performance.- Managing supplier relationship and negotiates the price with the suppliers when necessary.- Searches for new suppliers and identifies new raw materials as and when necessary.- Reviews the economies of all purchases in order to reduce costs and improve quality and delivery times.- Prepare monthly reports.**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent**Salary**: RM2,300.00 - RM4,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Free parking- Health insurance- Maternity leave- Opportunities for promotionSchedule:- Day shiftSupplemental Pay:- Overtime pay- Yearly bonusAbility to commute/relocate:- Sungai Bakap: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Experience**:- Purchasing: 1 year (preferred)
