Qa Engineer

Job Description Responsibilities: Monitor implementation and validate effectiveness of all corrective actions taken for any non-conformances detected, which relates directly to the product quality of the assigned models.
Carries out relevant in-process inspection and testing in the Production & Luxury Department.
Accountable for the quality of products produced by Production & Luxury Department.
Assist Production section in development and implementation of the defined Quality Systems with respect to compliance and continuous improvements.
Upkeep of related quality procedures.
Review and propose quality measures and processes to eliminate all quality incidents which directly affect the product quality of the assigned models.
Analyze all quality information periodically and drive all Quality Improvement Activities.
Provide technical assistance and ensuring a high competency level is maintained in quality.
Conduct periodic audits to ensure line and process compliances are in line with customers' requirements.
Monitor and review supplier and sub-con performance, inspection and improve the quality of product.
Updating issues regarding quality & ensure issues are reviewed and bought up to the relevant department.
Appointed as an Internal Auditor and DQMR for Starlite Printers (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd
Ensure adequate actions taken to prevent occurrence of any non-conformities relating quality.
Ensuring the effectiveness of quality & environmental management systems.
Establish & maintain the quality management process & train junior staff and all peers to ensure compliance of the quality process.

Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Quality/ Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent with at least 5 years experience
Preferably experience in printing or manufacturing industries.
Good knowledge in ISO 9000 & 14000 and FMEA
Track record in developing and spearheading quality programed will be an advantage.
