Quantity Surveyor

1. Review architectural plans and prepare quantity needs2. Estimate the quantity and costs of material3. Prepare contracts and documents4. Set budgets for payments, inventory needs, and materials5. Analyze costs for maintenance and additional building needs6. Track changes in plans or constructions; update budgets7. Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors8. Hire and document contractors and subcontractors9. Act as a liaison between clients and site managers/engineers10. Keep track of construction materials and inventory11. Identify potential financial or construction risks12. Advise clients on improvements, strategies, and/or estimated costs13. Document progress, materials, and reports on project14. Advise on property taxes, regulations, and local laws15. Sources maintenance costs and facilities management for clients16. Analyze completed projects to determine ROI and compare costs17.
