R&D Executive (Automotive Industry / Material

Work closely with operation teams (Production, QC & Marketing) for product performance & development based on customer requirements.- Require to perform in-house lab testing on the material / product such as fire test, tensile strength, peeling test, sound absorption testing, sound transmission testing, density test & etc.- Require to development new product / new formulation for existing product for cost saving and better product quality to meet customer requirement.- Prepare sample of product for customer approval before mass production run.- Develop raw materials, processes and products to support the business strategy including new product design or product/process enhancement.- Processing of fabric/têxtile through the manufacturing facility; evaluating fabric/têxtile performance data.- Define and implement methods to improve productivity, capacity and quality.- Develop and set up new processes or materials for the reliable production of existing and new products.- To plan, perform and schedule the feasibility studies on raw material projects.- To source, develop, testing and trial run on new alternative source of material for existing or new product.- To liaise with internal department on purchasing, vendor sourcing samples testing and production trial run.- Support QC department to investigate the root cause on product quality defect based on customer complaints and rejections through Corrective Action Plan- Develops the documentation required for new products in compliance with ISO 9001 correctly.**Job Requirement**:- Bachelors Degree in Textile/Polymer/Material Science/Chemical or any related studies is preferred.- Knowledge on têxtile, fabric, rubber, heat & sound insulation will be added advantages- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment and on multiple projects simultaneously, as well as, the ability to interface effectively with other functions- At least 1 year R&D experience in têxtile/ automotive/rubber,/air-cond/acoustic industry.**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Free parking- Health insurance- Meal provided- Opportunities for promotion- Professional developmentSupplemental pay types:- Attendance bonus**Education**:- Bachelor's (preferred)**Experience**:- product development: 1 year (preferred)
