Overview of job MediaCom is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. GroupM is the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Regional Digital Manager to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for demonstrating success in being the subject matter expert on all digital touch points for your clients and internal team. This role is for Mars Inc working for Confectionery and Pet Care category across South East Asia and also North Asia Markets. This role is based out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Reporting of the role: SEA Business Director Measures of success – In three months: Demonstrate understanding of the client using data to gain insight on business challenges. You will also be up to speed with the competitor landscape for the client's industry. In six months: Be the person whom the client goes to for day-to-day digital insight and activities. Begin to propose ideas and activities to answer identified challenges In 12 months, you would: Mentor and handle performance appraisal for team and lead projects independently. What your day job looks like: Working with the Malaysia and Thailand HUBs along with senior client teams, you will assume responsibility for creating best in class digital strategies, supporting the markets in how they activate against these strategies and helping to design a modern, future facing data focussed vision for the future. In this exciting and new role, you will: You will be working on the SEM and e-Commerce (on and off platform) strategy across SEA and NA markets You will need to periodically present market landscapes and insights across the SEA+NA markets from a digital standpoint For all brand campaigns you will be the key contact person for both internal (MediaCom) and also external (client) to advise on the best approach on big platforms likes Youtube, Facebook, Programmatic executions along with new media platforms which can be Mobile, Social and VOD. Coordinate and lead all conversation with the Clients digital lead Making sure that aligned strategy with the client at the HUB level is being implemented with accuracy across different markets Delivering timely reports for all digital campaigns across markets, the leg work will be done by market teams, but you will need to give a POV and next steps direction as and when needed. You will also need to lead these meetings as a MediaCom representative. Ideally this is not an execution role, however if and when need be you would be required to help out local execution teams. To lead the conversations and implementation of all Data projects (1st party) and otherwise As Mars is part of a Global network you would need to attend monthly NOE (network of excellence) calls and identify opportunities to implement what’s happening Globally in our scoped markets. Attend and lead periodic WIP meetings for Digital SEM/ECOMM and Brand digital campaigns Monthly WIP on execution for SEM, Google shopping Ad’s , in-platform search and CPAS, Monthly Traffic Plans for ecommerce (SEM eComm & CPAS) Audience and keyword ranking quality score report Attend the monthly WIP meetings with Mars new SEO agency To lead media insights and performance review Semi Annual total performance review across all digital platforms advertised on Create client learning opportunities by identifying media owners and creating a quarterly new media platform sharing sessions E-commerce Planning for all 6 markets strategy for click and collaborative ads Supervise campaign set up for all markets Campaign co-ordination between Mars and local MediaCom (being point of contact) Provide campaign reports, campaign updates, and post buy reports including presentation for all markets Daily report for mega campaign Weekly campaign updates for other campaigns i.e CPAS, SEM Ecommerce (screen grab) Post buy report and presentation session (7-10 working days after campaign ends) What you will need: Positive and passionate approach that motivates the markets & champions team successes with clients It is essential that the candidate has a strong understanding of the broad digital landscape and a good knowledge specifically of the programmatic landscape Excellent presentation skills (writing and delivery) and comfortable dealing with senior global clients. The ability to challenge clients in a structured and well thought through way Must be curious about data analytics and how that impacts the planning process Must be very knowledgeable about the technologies used to support online and/or mobile advertising operations inc. ad serving, audience management tools, inventory applications, tagging, viewability measurement etc. Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities responsibilities Ability to work efficiently in a fast-pace environment High level of accuracy and attention to detail Keen problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Well-versed in the Microsoft Office suite specifically, Excel and PowerPoint About MediaCom Hello.
