Responsibilities: - Partner with Middle East and Asia-Pacific (MEAP) Senior Finance Manager to provide strategic financial support to PPS' MEAP regional operations teams
- Deliver financial leadership, compliance and controllership to the MEAP regions which operate across multiple jurisdictions
- Lead GSP and Annual Plan processes for these regions, supporting business goals and short and long-range forecasting
- Backlog overview
- Perform regular performance analysis vs. plan, estimates and prior year and provide insightful recommendations on Orders / Sales / CM / Base / OM, utilization and absorption
- Roll up of monthly and quarterly financial statements and P&L closing packages, including income statement, balance sheet and cash flows
- Drive the financial structure to ensure a strong project margin review process is embedded, timely invoicing and cash collections
- Embed measurable KPIs to challenge the business on targets and performance
- Support external audit, tax and treasury management, reporting and compliance requirements for all legal entities and branches
- Partner with Commercial and Operations teams on a proactive basis to provide insight and decision making support
- Drive business controllership within the entire region - ensure that there is complete ownership by the region, whilst identifying potential gaps and solutions
- Drive simplification and digitization, where applicable. Reduce cycle times, reworks and manual activities, whilst instigating controls. Support business initiatives and cross functional projects
Qualifications/Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) qualified with 3-5 years post qualification experience
- Strategic thinker with business acumen, judgment and strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Team player with ability to focus on group performance and goals
- Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS as applicable to a multi-national / currency business
- Excellent communication / interpersonal / leadership and influencing skills
- Oracle experience preferred
- Track record of meeting tight deadlines under pressure
- Experience in working with external auditors
