Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group’s Industrial Division is recruiting on behalf of a MNC which is involved in the manufacturing and sales of specialty chemicals, with specific application in Feed Additives.

The winning candidate needs to lead a team of Area Sales Managers. The candidate would need to define, plan and execute regional sales strategies, while providing leadership and support to respective subordinates.

Job responsibilities:

- To provide accurate business forecast.
- To develop and improve product ranges across regions in ASEAN.
- To implement channel plans to enhance awareness.
- To write business plans and coordinate sales strategies.
- Leading and managing the existing field sales team in Malaysia and other neighbouring countries to deliver consistent levels of profitable growth.
- Understanding customers' needs and, providing product and service solutions which adds value to the customer.
- Maintaining and expanding customer base by guiding area sales managers; developing rapport with market peers; identifying new customer opportunities.
- Guiding and leading on segment- and transactional pricing to optimise customer profitability.
- Working closely with supply chain in providing accurate sales forecasts to align Sales and Operations to optimize inventory and service levels. Job requirements:

- Any Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry. Sales or business qualification will also be considered.
- In-depth knowledge of feed additives knowledge, as well as animal nutrition.
- More than 5 years’ working experience in sales. Experience and track record as a People Manager.
- Excellent written and spoken English. Mandarin is a nice to have.
- Good problem solving and critical thinking, with good business acumen and a strong sense of value selling.
- Must be able to work independently and remotely.
- Ability to identify and translate industry/market trends into new opportunities and solutions for existing and new customers/markets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Customer Focused with high level of urgency and a proven ability to successfully resolve service and performance issues.
