Release Manager

Job Responsibilities:Manage the release process for applications across Windows and Linux platforms.
Coordinate with development, QA, and operations teams for smooth deployments.
Implement and maintain Java application deployment processes.
Ensure applications are secure and functional on both Windows and Linux.
Support application infrastructure setup and communication.
Use networking and security concepts to maintain a secure environment.
Utilize source control and development tools for managing deployments.
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Must Have:
At least 6 years of experience as a release manager with Java application deployment.
Proficiency in deploying applications on Windows and Linux platforms.
Technical skills in:
Primary skills:Windows/IBM WebSphere Application Server, Windows/SQL Server, Java, Windows Batch/Powershell
Secondary Skills:Linux/Jboss EAP, Jboss HTTPD, Linux/Oracle, Java, Linux Shell Scripting
OS:Windows, RHEL
Experience with networking concepts for application infrastructure.
Understanding of security concepts for application environments.
Familiarity with source control and development tools.
Experience with Java development technologies and frameworks (e.g., Spring Framework, Microservices).
Excellent analytical skills, including problem-solving and decision-making.
Good to Have:
Experience with DevOpsSec tools (e.g., Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonarqube).
Experience with Jboss EAP and IBM WebSphere application servers, Oracle DB and Microsoft SQL Server DB.
Solid experience in deploying applications on both Windows and Linux.
Experience with Java Development, Technologies, and Frameworks.
Strong understanding of security concepts for application setup.
