Rm 2500- Shipping Assistant (Export And Import)- Subang Airport

Position : Shipping Assistant
Working Days : Monday ? Friday
Working hours : 0800 until 1730
Working Location : Mas Engineering Complex A, Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang
Working Duration : 6 months contract under Kelly Services (highly renewable)
Overall Responsibility:
Handle the business coordination and documentation of import and export of material via Airfreight and other mode of transport.
Familiar and knowledgeable in matters related to incoterm for import and export consignment and stay compliance at all time.
Ensure all transactions are done accordance to Malaysian Customs Regulations.
To issue Commercial Invoice Packing List (CIPL) for outbound movement with correct value and incoterm accordingly.
Handle logistics arrangements including follow up on flight bookings, shipping instruction and cargo arrangement
Able to handle truck bookings for delivery and redelivery according to the contract.
Perform and organize general administrative duties including attending to customer's enquiries on delivery status, CIPL etc.
Ensure Sales tax claim exemption is used for GE shipment and to be monitored closely.
Responsible to do transaction for inbound and outbound in SAP
To carry out shipping function for return parts to customer accordingly.
Responsible to update on pending / delay inbound and outbound shipment to facilitate production planning.
Ensure billings are done according to the invoice receipt from agent accordingly.
Safe keeping of customs declarations & record accordingly.
To support and facilitate in customs audit whenever necessary.
Improvement mind set at all time and able to see challenges as opportunity to bring positive changes in the process.
Flexible to meet the stringent timeline, follow up and update the stakeholder accordingly.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/ Bachelor Degree, in Logistics/ Transportation or equivalent with a CGPA of 3.0 & above.
Preferably candidate with at least 3 years of working experience in logistics or shipments processing.
Proficient in spoken and written English.
Experience in export and import transaction, documentation
Results oriented, strong follow up and able to justify decision towards cost reducing.
Hands on experience in handling SAP for inbound and outbound transactions
