Job description: Servicing of Roll chock bearing and housing assembly Press out roll coupling and bearing chock assemblyCleaning of bearing housing partsCheck and replace worn out partsPump in grease into the bearing chock after assembly Servicing of guides Clean and dismantle guidesClean all components and replace worn out partsAssemble align and adjust bearing clearanceApply lubricants to moving parts Lubrication of bearing housing and guides in the Roughing mill areaCarry out fabrication jobs such as static guides billet runways, etcAssist Rollerman in change size or change rollAssist in the repair or maintenance of reheating furnacePerform ad-hoc duties assigned by the immediate supervisor from time to time. Requirements: Possess at least a Diploma, Short Course Certificate in Mechanical or equivalent.Minimum 2 years relevant working experience preferably in a steel manufacturing industry.Ability to work on rotational shifts.
