**Job Requirements**:- Diploma / Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent- A green book holder with valid license certified by DOSH or have attended and completed Safety & Health Officer Course (SHO) from a recognized Training Institute- Willing to travel to our operating factories- Minimum of 2 -3 years of experience- Prior experience in Furniture Manufacturing will be an added advantage**Responsibilities**:- To advise the employer and employees / area owner for workplace safety and health continuous improvement plan- To be the secretary of the safety and health committee as specified under sub-regulation 6 (2), Occupational Safety and Health (Safety and Health Committee) Regulations 1996 and perform all the functions of a secretary as specified- Develop, plan, organize and implement Occupational Health, Safety Management system programs- Conduct safety audit, workplace inspection, awareness briefing, training and induction programs to promote safety awareness- Guide and support the Safety Committee in establishing system manual, policy and execution of safety programs- Conduct accident investigation, identify root of cause and advise corrective and preventive plans- Conduct Hazard Indentification Risk Assessment Risk Control (HIRARC) & Safety Operation Procedure at workplace- Responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing all employee's Safety at work- Implement preventive measures to manage Covid-19 in workplace- To assist and liaise with government officers / DOSH officers in carrying out his duties under the Act or any Regulations made under the act.**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent**Salary**: RM2,200.00 - RM3,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Maternity leave- Parental leave- Professional developmentSupplemental Pay:- Yearly bonusAbility to commute/relocate:- Ipoh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Education**:- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)License/Certification:- Green Book Holder ceritified by DOSH (required)
