As one of Ninja Van's new business units, the Ninja Direct business is a ‘startup within a startup’. As aSales Associate, you will take on full responsibility in growing our new business vertical, by converting sales leads successfully into Ninja Van’s customers through a process-driven and coordinated sales effort with the wider sales team. We are on the lookout for a driven and result-oriented individual with a passion for discovering opportunities and selling to help accelerate the growth of our business.
Responsibilities
Analyse market needs through market research and conduct lead generation to build pipeline of prospective e-commerce sellers.
Carry out targeted conversations with leads through various channels, via phone calls, in-person meetings and offline events and secure potential new customers.
Develop strong understanding of consumer trends and preferences within focus verticals.
Maintain and develop relationships with prospects for successful conversion.
Serve as primary point-of-contact between clients and Ninja Van.
Identifies service improvements or new services by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Successfully partner with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless end-to-end ordering process for clients.
Prepares reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information.
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in sales or business development role.
Fresh graduates also encouraged to apply.
Prior exposure in e-commerce, fmcg, fashion industry is advantageous.
Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and maintaining strong client relationships.
Self-motivated, meticulous and able to work independently to achieve defined targets.
Persuasive and possesses strong negotiation skills to close sales.
Professional fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Degree/ Diploma in any field.
