We are looking for a highly experienced Sales Development Manager to drive Danfoss market share development in our Industrial Refrigeration (IRF) business in the Asia Pacific Region. To be successful, the incumbent must drive a clear go-to-market strategy with an inclusive approach and strong opportunity management across countries. As a team player, the incumbent should continuously harness full transparency and drive active decisions on how to position Danfoss in the IRF business based on pipeline management

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Discover and develop IRF opportunities within emerging technologies, such as CO2 and large-scale heat pumps. Identify future major opportunities, such related to IRF core markets (food processing and cold storage) Support the deployment of new products such as air purger, electronics, Heat exchangers etc. Outline and develop IRF service strategy, with focus on the circular economy Commercially accountable for busines results Secure alignment with the regional sales team between IRF LoB strategic direction, including portfolio development plans and regional sales needs to maximize growth Drive IRF/PL40 regional focus by active follow-up and dialogue on defined activities supporting strategic direction including opportunity pipeline, CRS needs, new product launches, etc. Participate in quarterly regional segment performance dialogues with the Regional Sales Director, IRF Segment and Indirect Managers Voice inside the LoB for regional sales development updates (Incl. product launch development) and product roadmap planning (ensure LoB stakeholders are incorporating regional product needs, solutions to address main obstacles to growth and customer/competitor regional insights in plans). Align, validate and support key regional sales development processes – demand planning (monthly), rolling forecast (quarterly), perspective planning (annual). Support critical customer meetings, business reviews and sales meeting in the region as needed. Ensure any barriers implicating active PL40 regional sales escalated within the LoB to respective functional leaders. As part of the pricing policy escalation process, provide PL40 pricing direction in coordination with the Regional Sales Director when escalation to level 2 is required. Support Global/Regional Segment Marketing and MARCOM teams on relevant business case development, fact pack development, heat maps and targeted marketing campaigns.

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:
Bachelor´s degree in Engineering Experience from B2B area, preferably from the industrial/project environment 10 years of experience in Sales & Marketing and/or product management 2-5 years working experience in the Refrigeration industry Solid business experience in strategy, finance and planning. Strong business acumen with solid negotiation and presentation skills Ability to translate customers’ needs into compelling product and/or service propositions Effective communication and networking skills - both internal (across all relevant functions) and external (customers) Self-motivated, service-oriented individual having a customer centric mindset. Ambitious and has a strong drive to succeed. Self-motivated team player who WANTS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
