Reporting To:Sales Director/Sales ManagerDescriptionResponsibilitiesSales strategy: Develop sales strategies, set goals, and implement sales plans
Prospecting: Generate leads, identify new business prospects, and reach out to potential customers
Customer service: Provide exceptional customer service, answer customer queries, and resolve complaints
Relationship building: Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
Sales negotiations: Negotiate contracts and close sales
Sales targets: Meet or exceed sales targets
Sales data: Gather data on customer preferences and buying habits to create targeted sales campaigns
Product knowledge: Keep up to date with product and industry trends
Teamwork: Participate in team meetings
Customer relationship management: Create and maintain customer relationship management data
Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:Diploma in Business Management, Customer Relationship Management, Communications, Business Administration, or any other related field.
The equivalent of this in working experience is also acceptable for this position.
At least 3 years of experience in a Sales role
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
Some experience in business-to-business consultative solution sales within the Retail sector and/or sector where service levels are a key driver.
Proficient business writing and presentation skills and a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office products
