What You Will Do
The Sales Manager is responsible for achieving product sales to new and established national/key accounts to achieve sales objectives and greater market penetration.
This job is eligible for sales incentives/sales commissions.
Additionally, you will resolve routine problems and customer complaints and supervise the day-to-day activities of a sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Creates a tactical plan to achieve objectives through the sales and servicing of large national/key accounts within a prescribed territory.
Contacts and makes preplanned sales presentations to customers.
Makes regular visits to customer locations to gather information on orders and market conditions.
Plan, direct, and coordinate territory management activities such as implementing marketing and sales programs in a timely manner to build and grow the Company's business in the designated territory assigned.
Continue rapid business development through working closely with our key customers and distributor to achieve designated territory sales target distribution and merchandising objectives.
Leverage in-depth understanding of retailer dynamics, shopper/consumer knowledge, merchandising opportunities, and retailer promotion/events opportunities with speed and excellence.
Support the development of effective distribution and maintain a healthy inventory system in the trade.
Manage distributor's sales representatives in achieving business results.
Required Qualifications
Graduate with a bachelor's degree; Business-related course is a plus.
Minimum 6 years in FMCG Sales Experience either Modern Trade or General Trade.
Exposure to an FMCG sales structure.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in distributor management.
Commercially focused with strong financial acumen and a high level of attention to detail.
High level of motivation with an ability to create a positive and engaging environment with team members and the sales operation team.
Ability to travel frequently to customer sites and stores.
