What is the opportunity?
Investor & Treasury Services Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographic time zones. The country employs a global operating model to maximize efficiencies across time zones and supports a 24/5 operations.As an Senior Administrator in Production Assurance, you will be responsible to act as a support function to the Client Operations departments, namely Transaction Management & Middle Office, Shareholder Services, Fund Accounting, Entitlements, Data Service Delivery (DSD), Private Capital Services (PCS), Client Invoicing, Reconciliation Production Services and Treasury Market Services. They will be to manage and implement a wide range of tasks, including Management Information (MI) reporting, technical support, process improvements, global and local projects implementation, which includes, but not limited to requirements / data gathering, building test cases and performing UAT.

What will you do?
Responsible for reviewing and challenging the risk and control framework and must also ensure delivery versus timelines and that the company governance frameworks are adhered to.
Responsible in preparing all project reporting required by internal and external stakeholders on periodic basis for management’s approval.
Monitor compliance with project management standards, policies, procedures, and templates via participation in project implementations.
Active involvement in the implementation of technological and operational initiatives to reduce/mitigate risks identified.
Participate in testing of system enhancements and changes with Business and provide recommendations and constructive solutions for issues that arise.
Relationship Management and Communication -Develops long term relationships with targeted lines(s) of business with a detailed understanding of the targeted business including Collaborating with colleagues globally to achieve objectives.
Management Excellence -Maintain effective relationships with all the teams in Client Operations including open lines of communication and managing stakeholders to deliver projects and communications to the required standards
Management Information -Centralise all management information from Client Operations for MI reporting with Identifying areas of improvement in terms of data gathering and data governance including collating and analyzing associated MI for training delivery and competency levels.
Change Leadership -Strong practitioner of the Change Control Framework and ensures that the governance standards are maintained including building a culture that supports change and diversity, communicates process/procedures changes and any issues/errors and by being accountable to the accuracy and integrity of internal error log and identify trends for process improvements.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have
Have exposure to either the market practise for transactions & market settlements, corporate actions or FX Ops, (Custody as a whole), calculating Net Asset Value & preparing financial statements (FA) or fund capital movement & settlement timelines (TA).
Have workingexperiences in Financial industry with technical knowledge in Securities Services industry.
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-have
Sound planning and organization, management skills
Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS and country specific accounting standards) would be an advantage.
Advanced MS Excel user (Macro/VBA/Coding skills).
