KEY OUTCOMES
The primary responsibility is to provide day to day support to Directors and Consultants across a range of accounts and create meaningful impact on our client’s businesses. A Senior Associate supports the BU's goals by delighting clients with great work, developing the team capabilities and ensuring efficient delivery. As a key interface between the organisation and our clients, the role includes client engagement, consultancy, study design and analysis, driving preparation of presentations and reports as well as internal responsibilities such as project management, and coaching juniors on tasks specific to the accounts.

CAPABILITIES
Account Management
o Manage accounts to ensure as a team all account deliverables are met
o Accountable for the accurate and timely delivery of project related outputs including proposals, screener, discussion guide, reporting presentations and workshops – expecting this role to be fairly independent across these deliveries with minimal supervision from the senior
o Providing constructive feedback and support for other account members to ensure account responsibilities and deliverables are met to a high standard in agreed timelines
o Maximise account efficiency by reviewing, improving and streamlining processes and systems without compromising quality
o Contribute to content of account management plans for key clients and helps manage this process
o Develop case studies to demonstrate value we bring for clients. Conduct and create impact reviews for all projects
o Foster good relationships with third party suppliers and provides constructive feedback to improve relationships.

Analysis and Insights Expertise
o Support development and implementation of appropriate solutions to drive meaningful insight for clients’ needs and their business
o Apply experienced costing, sample design, output flow etc
o Formulate, articulate and validate hypotheses to help build appropriate, relevant and impactful stories
o Understand and synthesise data from various sources (e.g. non-survey data such as Social)
o Translate insights into insightful charts and meaning deliverables with clear and concise implications that will help clients make better decisions
o Experienced interpretation of data and ability to articulate insights clearly and impactfully
o Demonstrate knowledge of brand tools, philosophies and techniques and applies these appropriately to the design, analysis and interpretation of projects to deliver meaningful insights
o Identify opportunities to deepen insights for clients using further analysis including brand learnings as appropriate
o Foster analysis skills, along with insights knowledge across reports on all accounts

Client Management and Consultancy
o Develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of your clients and their business in all interactions with clients, and deliverables and analysis conducted for them. Knowledge including;
Key clients, key stakeholders and their needs
The client’s business and strategy / challenges
Client brands and communication activity
Client markets and competitors
Deliver effective advice for your clients

o Contribute to, and facilitate client discussions to better understand their business issues
o Develop a point of view on specific client issues aligned with brand philosophies
o Develop strong relationships with clients to the extent they are perceived as a key member of the team that can offer advice and support
Present impactfully on some accounts
Demonstrate confidence and good interpersonal skills in client facing situations
Utilises 'Goldstar' client management model to deepen relationships
Actively contribute to client and agency meetings

o Contributes to the development of case studies to demonstrate value we bring for clients.

People Management
o Coach and develop account team members through constructive feedback to identify areas of strength, and areas required for improvement
o Effectively delegate tasks where appropriate
o Participate in the training of more junior team members as appropriate
o Complete all Performance Appraisals Process responsibilities on time

Business Development and Financial Management
o Build good relationships and delivers to account responsibilities sufficiently to retain clients and maintain existing business
o Identify and pursue opportunities to grow existing client business, revenue and profitability
o Respond to new business opportunities through:
Preparing accurate costs
Preparing proposals
Updating to Maconomy and maintain accuracy of pipeline

o Complete timesheets accurately and on time
o Ensure Finance processes are followed through:
Client Contracts
PO
Billing
o Monitor costs throughout projects
