RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and develop data visualizations, complex reports and dashboards as required to support user stories Collaborating with stakeholders to identify analytic requirements and devise the best possible solution Perform detailed data analysis (i.e. determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples) Define, execute and interpret complex/nested SQL queries Establish standards and best practices for dashboards and related technologies Support internal clients promotions/ campaigns throughout the year: provide data extraction, analysis and reports to management Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats. Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing conclusions. Responsible to ensure the delivery of data and analytics initiatives. Consulting with stakeholders and senior leaders on insights, trends, and data-driven solutions.
REQUIREMENTS:
Tertiary education background (minimum level – degree) in Information Technology or equivalent 5 years data & reporting experience with some software development background Experience using business analysis and project management skills At least 2-3 year experience in Retail and Supply Chain Management Processes and Operations Model Knowledge of statistics and experience in using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel is must-have, R, Python is an added advantage) Experience in working with dashboard tools e.g. Tableau (must-have), QlikView, Power BI is an added advantage Knowledge in software development, PL/SQL query Ability to document business processes, writing of software design specifications and use-cases. Ability to translate business requirement into technical details and produce a useful insight for users Ability to interact with vendor, users and third parties as appropriate. Project management skills, organization of project scopes and materials. Experience in best-practice design, consulting and research analysis. The ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, clearly and succinctly. Demonstrates good listening and comprehension skills. Is a high achiever with result oriented-focus Ability to build and manage relationship with vendor and users, including all levels of management. Effective user management skills
