Work you will do
This role sits within the Customer and Marketing (C&M) team of Deloitte Southeast Asia, which is a part of Deloitte that uses technology and creativity to better connect the customer with the business. As part of the Digital Customer Team, you will leverage insight-driven strategies and advanced technology solutions to energize sales and service operations for digitally-powered growth and enhance our client's customer relationships with immersive experiences powered by leading digital arts. Eighty percent of the customer moments that make up their brand happen in the sales and service experience. We not only help our clients to make those memories for their customers, but we integrate their whole business around those moments—whether it's a trip into their supply chain, logistics, and fulfillment, or advancing the customer mindset of their employees and partners.
You will:
Develop, test and implement new software programs Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues Design and update software database. This includes, but is not limited to Software Applications, Web Sites, Data Communication Processes, User Interfaces Test, maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues Provide comprehensive support to internal customers; achieve resolution to outstanding problems or issues Analyze user requirements and convert requirements to design documents Compile timely, comprehensive and accurate documentation and or reports as requested Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers Be part of a community focusing on Agile delivery and principles Collaborating with development team and other staff to set specifications for new applications
Other relevant tasks:
Work in a team to design and code custom-build solutions based on Enterprise Java technologies and related frameworks Design integration approaches and solutions using API interfaces. Collaborate with clients, architects, and application architectures to understand the operational objectives and purpose of the future system integration Manage a DevOps pipeline for software development, including the full Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) process by using Docker, Kubernetes, containerization, orchestration

If you are someone with:
Bachelor's in Computer Science or relevant qualification
- 3- 8 years of experience in a position performing software development
Strong software development with minimum 5 years of experience in Java, Java Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring integration, Spring security, and REST services, design patterns and architectures Able to learn new Java technologies (e.g. Java SpringBoot) through training medium such as class or online Understands the process of new application development and has the ability to apply these concepts with minimal mentoring and supervision Must have the ability to learn to provide support & maintenance for simple to complex software applications Experience in Banking Industry is a plus Willingness to learn new software or application
