Senior Equipment Engineer

Job Description We are currently looking for a Senior Equipment Engineer to primarily work in Tape/ Ink batching and provide secondary support on greenline equipment. The Engineer will also support equipment installation and commissioning for the Malaysia factory.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure smooth day to day operation of each machine especially batching production process
Ensure smooth machine preventive maintenance planning and execution
Work with Process Engineering for process and equipment improvement
Provide guidance and training to the maintenance team in order to enhance the effectiveness of trouble shooting and knowledge sharing
Establish all equipment specifications, troubleshooting and PM procedures, and ensure their compliance with corporate & regulatory requirements and procedures
Liaise with equipment vendors and spare parts suppliers continuously to develop new methods to achieve low cost maintenance system and cost excellence
Manage equipment servicing contracts with suppliers

About you:
Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering
Minimum 3 year experience in high volume manufacturing with experience in semi-automated equipment and process
Possesses in-depth knowledge in lab equipment/instrument/machine and its processes
Possess in-depth knowledge in equipment/machine troubleshooting for both mechanical and electrical
Experience in machine and automation improvement both hardware and software is preferred
Experience in preventive maintenance and execution planning
