Senior Finance Executive - Johor Bahru

This local company specialises in the construction and engineering industry, catering their services to facilities, buildings & power plants.
With its expansion, a Senior Finance Executive position is available.
Your new role
Primarily responsible for the Accounts Payable function.
Monitor and follow up on supplier account statements.
Guide and review AP reconciliations completed by junior account executives.
Review the creditor ledger and ageing report to ensure all payments are properly cleared.
Act as the liaison with suppliers to resolve discrepancies between DESB's creditor ageing report and the supplier's statement of account, addressing any previously uncleared invoices.
Generate unrecorded invoices for accrual purposes during month-end closing.
Collaborate closely with the procurement department to follow up on pending Good Receipt Notes (GRN) and Good Value Notes (GVN) in the ERP System.
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum 2 - 3 years of working experience in the Accounting & Finance function.
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant field.
Able to communicate in Mandarin & English, as well as Bahasa Melayu.
Good personality and willingness to learn.
