Senior Finance Specialist

Overview:
As a Senior Finance Specialist, you will be responsible for a full set of accounting activities which includes general ledger preparation, handling AP and AR operations, billings, managing fixed assets, sourcing operations, annual budgeting, rolling forecast, audit and tax.
Your Responsibilities:
Handle full set of accounts and daily accounting functions, ensuring accuracy with proper supporting documentation
Handles accounts payable function, including processing and verifying all AP-related transactions and ensuring relevant supporting documents, ensure payments In accordance to the payment term.
Handles full spectrum of fixed assets and accounts receivable
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, cash flow statements, annual budgeting and planning cycle
Prepares month-end schedules, bank reconciliation and all other accounting-related works
Handle treasury and banking-related tasks
Handle sourcing operations and ensure full compliance with the company's Internal policies and procedures at all times
Perform Invoice billing and liaise with the Operation team and other departments to resolve If there Is any billing Issues
To work closely with the Finance manager to ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
To work closely with the Finance manager in handling queries from vendors/customers/stakeholders to resolve disputes and discrepancies
Support In In-depth financial analysis works If required
Drive together with the Finance manager for Improvements In accounting systems and processes
Assist In the preparation of tax returns, service tax submission and audits
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary and other professionals to ensure compliance on all matters relating to audit, tax, compliance and statutory requirement
Assist In other ad-hoc assignments as and when It Is required
What You Need:
• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent professional qualifications of CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, etc
• At least 6 years of relevant working experience in finance and operations roles.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• XERO knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Independent, requiring minimum supervision.
• A team player with a good working attitude and, the ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced and fun environment.
