Senior Formwork Designer

Job Summary:

Responsible for the drawings, design, modulation, quantity taking-off, ordering formwork, all internal and external correspondences and other related activities with respect to the Company's construction system for the assigned projects.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for preparing, issuance and updating of Shell Drawing, Formwork Modulation Drawings and Formwork Order List for the projects assigned.
Coordinate and direct liaise with the Clients and Consultants for technical information for the project assigned.
Troubleshoot consultants' drawing and resolve technical problem promptly.
Coordinate and work closely between internal Technical Manufacturing Department and Project & Field Operation Department on all technical matters in order to achieve common goal.
To handle problems raised by Technical Manufacturing Department and Project & Field Operation Department on projects assigned and help them to resolve the problems in the shortest time.
To assist in updating of ISO related documents and department ISO procedures and check for compliance.
Manage the Client’s stock inventory record for Aluminium Formwork System.
Perform any other duties assigned by the superior.

Job Authority:

To approve additional equipment (Aluminium Formwork and Accessories) requested by Project & Field Operation Department during first setting up of the equipment at site for projects assigned.
To approve design change requested by Technical Manufacturing Department or Project & Field Operation Department.
To approve dismantling of formwork mock-up.

Job Requirements:

Posses a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering/Architecture/Construction Management/Mechanical Engineering and/or minimum 3 years of related working experience.
Possess strong organizational, analytical skill, problem solving and a great deal of independent thinking, creativity and initiative. Be competent in multitasking plus the ability to manage and work well with colleagues.
Must be meticulous, computer-literate (AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel) with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Preference will be given to those who can start immediately
