Senior Front End Developer

Job Description-Collaborate with a team of developers and product owners on JavaScript and web development-Be a lead contributor to the work on modernizing our website and developing and maintaining a new modern lightweight JavaScript layer-Deliver modern, testable and maintainable code-Develop features in website projects, using current web technologies including for example JavaScript / ES6, HTML5, CSS3, and Vue.js-Participate in knowledge sharing and mentoring for other developers in your team
Job Requirements-At least 5 years experience of Vue.js web development-Knowledge of modern and standards-compliant JavaScript development, i.e. ES6 and above-Knowledge of current web technologies including JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3, and tools like Webpack-Knowledge of Web sockets, WebRTC, RTMP, PWA, service workers, state management and web storage technologies-Knowledge of responsive design practices, delivered cleanly and consistently across a wide variety of platforms, browsers and devices-Keen for good taste of UI, UX, and layout aesthetics for mobile and web design-Natural focus on high standards, quality, testing and unit testing, and tools like Karma, Jasmine and/or Jest-Previous work experience interacting with APIs through AJAX/JSON-Familiarity with, or interest in, automated testing, continuous integration, and cloud deployment-Experience with high-performance web delivery, optimizing front-end code, page-load performance and caching-Prior experience in implementation/integration of live-streaming technologies is a strong plus
