Job Overview: To Prepare Hook Up Work package & Support HU Preparation works for the SHWE Project Phase 2 Development Project.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Assisting HUC Principal Engineer for all the piping, structural and mechanical offshore scope of work.
- Review of Engineering drawings, prepare / advise HUC requirement and ensure HUC comments are captured in the Engineering and Fabrication AFC drawings.
- Responsible for the HUC Workpack preparation, detail of work identification, manhour estimation, material take-off, preparation of Project specific procedures and marked-up drawings preparation.
- Competent in hands-on Hook-up and commissioning activities. Good knowledge in hook-up of piping, structure and mechanical items at offshore location.
- Provide leadership role for the HUC team and report any deficiencies or changes to the
- Contractual scope of work and the basis of design.
- Interface and liaise with Project management team, Fabrication Yard and Company
- Representatives to ensure HUC requirement and activities are delivered and monitored in timely manner.
- Responsible for the timely execution of the piping, structural and mechanical hook-up and commissioning scope, both during preparation and execution phases as per Project schedule.
- Responsible for the interface with the respective discipline engineers from Design dept, within project organization, related vendors and Company representatives to ensure that the HUC preparation are meticulously and comprehensively carried out, meeting all Company requirement.
- Responsible in defining the consumables, tools and equipment, materials or services to be purchased / subcontracted for offshore HUC execution.
- Responsible in preparing a safe and effective hook-up installation methodology for specific and non-routine jobs.
- Prepare Project specific HUC procedures and coordinate with Company representatives for review and approval.
- Assist to review critical RFQ and PO for the materials related for his discipline, are finalized and issued as per Project schedule.
- Responsible for field supervision of HUC activities, including day to day management and supervision of field and project personnel.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Qualified Regional Engineers with suitable Offshore Hook Up Experience is Preferred
