What will you be engaged in?
As our new Senior IT Specialist, you will have the opportunity to manage our end-to-end IT infrastructure and IT assets management for multiple locations.
+ Installing, configuring, monitoring and managing computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners and make needed upgrades and repairs
+ Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
+ Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
+ Providing technical support across the company
+ Administering G Suite and company's other systems and platforms
+ Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
+ Determine company's network and computer system needs before setting one up
+ Maintain network and computer system security and ensure that all systems are operating correctly
+ Collect data in order to evaluate and optimize network and system performance
+ Add users to a network and assign and update security permissions on the network
+ Train users in the proper use of hardware and software
+ Interpret and solve problems when a user or an automated monitoring system alerts them that one exists
+ Testing new technology
+ Investigating security breaches and other cyber security incidents.
+ Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause.
+ Installing security measures and operating software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.
+ Working with a security vendor to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.
+ Fixing detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
+ Stay current on IT security trends and news.
+ Developing company-wide best practices for IT security.
+ Stay up-to-date on information technology trends and security standards.

+ Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
+ MBA in information systems.
+ Experience in information security or related field.
+ Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.
+ Good analytical skills to evaluate network and system performance and determine how changes in the environment will affect them.
+ Good Communication skills to be able to describe problems and their solutions to non-IT workers.
+ Understanding of firewalls, proxies, antivirus, and other security concepts.
+ Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.
