Senior Lab Technician Ii

Job Description The successful candidate will assist/support Chemists in performing R&D Tasks by utilizing available resources and fulfilling agreed R&D tasks schedule to increase business competitiveness & profitability.
This position is based in Shah Alam (Malaysia) and reports directly to Senior Chemist II/Category Manager ? Decorative.
Main Responsibilities:
Assist/support Chemists in performing R&D tasks by preparing and testing paint samples and panels at agreed time frame.
Assist/support Chemists to monitor test panels periodically and recording result for technical report purposes.
Upkeep lab Test Equipment by performing routine maintenance check to ensure the fitness of the lab equipment
Responsible for lab housekeeping and orderliness by performing weekly cleaning to ensure tidiness and better working environment.
Assist/support Chemists in providing technical support to lab, sales and marketing by working at site to support the projects? objective.
Qualifications:
Minimum High School/A-Level with 7 to 9 years of relevant experience
Experience in process and technical is essential
Knowledge and experience in engineering and R&D will be added advantage
Proficient in NOVA and specific color matching software
Fluent oral and written in English is essential
