Ingredion is hiring an Sr. Manager, Accounting. The role will be responsible for leading and supervising the Kuala Lumpur Shared Service Center accounting organization to produce timely, reliable and accurate financial information in accordance with regional requirements and regulations. This role is responsible for the completion, improvement and follow up of the SSC’s KPI’s applicable to the accounting area, ensuring a high level of accuracy and customer service delivered by the team. As a Sr. Manager, Accounting, your responsibilities will include: Responsible for managing financial reporting information for various areas ensuring high level of accuracy and automation. Manage an organization of ~20; including Accounting Managers Ensure company policies and procedures are being adhered to as they pertain to General Accounting Maintain and deliver General Accounting SSC KPI’s and ensures compliance of the SLAs. Prepares performance department reports as required Oversee interactions with external audit, internal controls, and internal audit as required and support external reporting requirements. Support the preparation of periodic transfer price reporting for the Tax department. Identify areas of continuous improvement and manage work on required solution Manage the accounting resources to develop new strategical processes Supervise, coach, train and mentor department staff in order to develop knowledgeable and skilled accounting organization. Build and maintain effective working relationships with both SSC and Business units that will help facilitate effective communication of business needs. Responsible for oversight of all internal and external audit engagements for the SSC, as well as follow up on action plans and deliverables The Accounts Payable Manager position is well-suited for you if you: Develops work plans, identifies data needs and successfully interprets analytic insights Strong willingness to research answers for unanswered questions Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and leverage relationships with Senior Management Ability to manage multiple tasks Ability to motivate and drive results Strong vision of the interaction of internal control environment Ability to design controls processes to mitigate complex risks. Ability to provide strategic direction and coordination for information management. Qualified candidates will have: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Master’s Degree in Accounting or MBA a strong positive. Certification or equivalent is a strong plus 8+ years of significant experience in financial analysis, reporting, accounting or auditing within a multinational environment and public companies. Strong executive presence and technical accounting background Proficiency in accounting principles as well as understanding of SOX and Operational/Financial Risks. Must be able to analyze financial results and assess financial/strategic impacts of business decisions. Proficient in cash flow, balance sheet and income statement analysis. Understand internal controls and business risk management. Strong computer skills with knowledge in the use of MS Office. Demonstrated experience of SAP, SAP BW, SAP BPC Consolidations, Cadency, Concur, Esker, MDG highly preferred Demonstrated managerial experience leading financial professionals. Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills. Must be able to convey information in a clear, focused, and concise manner. Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing multiple projects simultaneously. Travel required on ad hoc basis
