Position Objective: The position is responsible to drive and manage, together with the team, on the implementation of brand strategies and marketing activities/campaigns in line with the AIA?s proposition and ensure a consistent application of the AIA brand internally and externally. This position also requires the incumbent to build strong and strategic relationships with people inside and outside the organisation; and readily embrace change to bring improvements to current working culture and process.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop marketing campaigns from actionable insights to drive brand consideration, lead in key brand imageries and ensure the achievement of the overall business objectives and strategy
Review and revise campaign content and develop activities / materials that will enable the Agency Force to leverage on them to drive sales performance
Track overall marketing performance & perform post-mortem for all marketing campaigns; including budget management and monitoring
Extract and analyse market reactions and results of marketing activities and implement corrective action if targets are not met (including optimal use of marketing budget)
Develop impactful sales materials for distribution channels to promote existing / new product launches; build recommendation for product name and proposition; lead the crafting of the marketing story; develop sales material content in Simple Language, and ensure sales materials are aligned with the AIA Brand Guideline
Manage advertising, media agencies and third party vendor, and drives quality work at competitive rates and against agreed timelines across key strategic campaigns
Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements
Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in brand management, communications, marketing, or related field.
8 years of relevant working experience, and preference will be given to those with past experience in brand marketing.
Savvy in digital marketing and media planning is an added advantage.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills. Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia language writing skills are desired. Ability to converse and write in Mandarin is an added advantage.
Independent and result-orientated and with proven records in managing people and collaborating with others within a fast paced environment.
Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to make robust decisions under pressure with considerations of practicalities and governance.
Able to manage work priorities, advertising and promotion with agencies and media.
