At present, we are looking for an extremely capable logisitic/trade expert to lead the function from the front. about the jobReporting to the Managing Director, the Logistics & Trade Compliance Senior Manager is responsible for managing safety, customer and cost outcomes for all logistics and warehousing activities, including transport and finished goods packaging, both on site and off site via third party warehousing providers. This role also has operational oversight over the ongoing transformation of the current warehouse and logistics operations to best practice including outsourced warehousing & reverse logistics operations as well as automation of onsite warehouses.This role is centred on exceeding customer expectations, supply chain plays a valuable and key component of the customer experience. Leads and implements Trade Compliance objectives and programs relating to export control. customs compliance and trade security.Develop and translate objectives into local country/regional initiatives in coordination with business stakeholders and provide actionable guidance to ensure compliance.Lead the Logistics team in executing movements or raw materials and finished goods accurately and timely as per order execution.Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure that new projects and order requirements compliance to all Trade LawsSupport the strategy for import/export control, with emphasis on company-wide compliance to U.S. Customs Regulations, applicable export control regulationsSkills & Qualifications:Degree in any discipline with minimum 10 years related experienceLeadership experience is essentialKnowledge of Malaysian Custom regulation and other Asian countries is essential.More than 5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in customized products.
