Develop & execute efficient sorting procedures to enhance efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
Analyze and implement changes for improved sorting processes.
Plan and execute key initiatives that contribute to operational excellence and business growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics operations with business objectives and customer expectations.
Continuously monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
Hire, train, manage, lead, mentor and motivate a team of operations managers, executives, supervisors, and frontline staff.
Able to forecast manpower capacity within in-house & agency.
Strategize action during downtime and minimize dependence on a single source of sorting.
Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sortation team.
Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and productivity.
Ensure compliance with industry safety and equipment standards.
Key Result Area - SortOversee sorting center operations to ensure accuracy, speed, and compliance with safety standards.
Implement best practices for sorting operations, including automation and process optimization.
Monitor handling of goods to minimize damage or loss during the sorting process.
Key Result Area - Manpower ManagementEnsure daily sufficient capacity for fully inbound & outbound all parcels across all sort centres before linehaul departure time.
Take control of all possible initiatives for manpower in every single sorting process to minimize wrong sort/shipment within sort hub and to LM stations.
Key Result Area - Cost Per ParcelConstantly optimize manpower capacity and sorting process to utilize the cost per parcel.
Identify process gaps within the department and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Result Area - Technology & Process ImprovementIdentify and implement technology solutions to streamline operations and improve visibility across the supply chain.
Drive process standardization and innovation to achieve operational efficiency and cost savings.
Collaborate with the Engineering and IT teams to enhance logistics systems and tools.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in logistics and supply chain operations, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
In-depth knowledge of logistics operations, sortation & warehousing.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
Experience with logistics technology and tools, such as route optimization software and warehouse management systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
Experience in e-commerce logistics or express delivery services.
Proven ability to manage budgets and optimize cost structures.
Knowledge of lean principles, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
