Your role
Senior Pricing Analyst is expected to provide pricing support to both Motor and Non-Motor line of business, across both Conventional and Takaful business unit. The analysis is responsible to provide timely, accurate and high-quality analysis insights to assist in the business decision-making process. This role reports to the Head of Pricing.
Job Description
- Providing pricing support to both motor and non-motor line of business to ensure pricing adequacy and sound portfolio management according to Zurich Malaysia’s target rate of return
- Involve in the annual pricing review for Motor using established actuarial methods including but not limited to GLM
- Work closely with underwriters for product pricing, design product proposition and propose monitoring efforts to identify profitable areas for growth
- Provide actuarial supports to various senior management committees meeting that are conducted on regular basis
- Assist in quarterly pricing valuation exercise and alignment with Reserving team’s view
Requirement
- At least three years of experience in actuarial pricing or reserving
- Actively pursuing actuarial qualifications with any internationally recognized actuarial associations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint WPS/SAS
- Knowledge of SQL/Emblem/Radar/R/Python a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, statistics, or other relevant area of study preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, fluency in English
- Strong time management skills
- People management experience a plus
