Senior Qaqc Executive

Job Description:
1. To understand & comply with SOI's Quality Management System, Customers, Licensors and Regulatory/Legal requirements.
2. Strong knowledge in API product specifications & Premium Connections.
3. Able to understand and ensure compliance with all the requirements as per Internal Work Order.
4. To assist QA/QC Manager as follows:
a. Responsible to ensure that products inspected meet the required specifications.
b. Generate accurate Daily QA/QC Report, Monthly Inspection Report and other Quality related Reports as required.
c. Develop Training Programs and monitor the implementation of such programs and the effectiveness of the programs.
d. Develop and update of Quality Manual, Quality System Procedures, and Work Instructions & Guidelines.
e. To ensure latest document references are being used.
f. To carry out analysis on defects, non-conformance and ensure CAR to be responded accordingly.
g. To liaise with internal departments as well as external parties on Quality matters.
5. 70% of time shall be spent in the Plant to provide technical guidance on Quality matters.
6. Conduct routine internal meeting with QA/QC Supervisors and other Department Heads to further observe potential problems which need to be addressed accordingly
to avoid non-conformities.
7. Responsible for manpower allocation and job delegation for QA/QC Inspectors in order to ensure smooth operation.
8. Assist to conduct internal audit based on API Q1/ ISO9001.
9. Comply with safety policies and HSE procedures.
10. To ensure good housekeeping is maintained and sustained at work place.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by Department Head and/or Plant Manager/Deputy General Manager.
Specific Knowledge or Skill:
1. Fluent in English.
2. Strong knowledge in API Specifications 5CT and 7-1, API Q1, JFE connections, ISO 9001, Quality Management System & Manufacturing Operation Process.
3. Meticulous and Analytical.
4. Strong leadership & communication skills.
5. Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Quality Control/Assurance in Threading Plant environment or equivalent.
